Welcome to UMI Firmware (“UMI Firmware,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using umi-firmware.com (the “Site”) and any related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

1) Who We Are

UMI Firmware shares technical resources for mobile device servicing, including firmware/flash files, dead-fix files, repair guides, and tools for legitimate diagnostics. Our content is intended for technicians and device owners acting lawfully and responsibly.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3) Lawful & Ethical Use Only

  • Use our resources only on devices you own or have explicit permission to service. Unauthorized access, removal of security features, or servicing stolen devices is strictly prohibited.
  • Many tools and methods are subject to regional laws (e.g., anti-circumvention and anti-theft laws). You must comply with all applicable laws.
  • We do not endorse or support illegal bypassing of security features (e.g., FRP, OEM locks, or proprietary security like Samsung Knox) where prohibited by law. Any device access support is for rightful owners with proof of ownership and only where lawful.

4) Digital Products & Licensing

  • All digital downloads are licensed for personal or professional use as described on the product page, not sold outright. Rights remain with their respective owners.
  • Repackaging, reselling, or re-hosting our downloads without written permission is prohibited.
  • Vendor/OEM firmware and trademarks are the property of their respective owners; you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any OEM files for your purposes.

5) Payments, Pricing & Taxes

  • Prices may change at any time. Taxes and fees may apply based on your location and payment method.
  • By placing an order, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method.

7) Prohibited Conduct

  • Using the Services to violate laws or rights of others.
  • Distributing malware, harmful code, or tools primarily designed for unauthorized access.
  • Attempting to bypass our access controls or disrupt our services.
  • Uploading infringing content or violating third-party intellectual property.

8) Intellectual Property

The Site, its design, and our original content are protected by intellectual property laws. All third‑party names, logos, and firmware are the property of their respective owners and are used nominatively for identification and servicing compatibility.

9) User Content & DMCA

If you upload or share content on the Site, you represent you have the rights to do so and grant us a non‑exclusive license to host and display that content as needed for the Services. We respond to copyright notices under our DMCA Policy.

10) Third‑Party Links & Tools

We may link to third‑party sites or tools for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Use them at your own risk and in accordance with their terms.

11) Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that any file or tool will work for a specific device state or achieve a specific outcome. Servicing devices carries risk; proceed carefully and back up data where possible.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UMI Firmware is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or device functionality arising from the use of our Site or Services.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UMI Firmware harmless from claims and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third‑party right.
